Tom's Mom recently celebrated her 6oth birthday! We planned a surprise party for her in Cincinnati and headed down for a fun weekend with family. We were wondering if she caught on that something was up, but I think she really was surprised. It was a nice gathering and it was great to visit with family that we don't see too often.
Here's the birthday girl blowing out her candles. The Martin kids had a front row seat.

I love, love, love this picture. It cracks me up every time I look at it. Our little Nicholas looks just like Tom's brothers, Big Nicholas and Jeremy and it's hilarious. He must feel so happy to see some family members that look like him. :)

Nicholas and Marissa made Gramma garden stones with their handprints in them. She has one from each of her grandchildren now so her collection is complete.
Cousin Lindsey and Jenna got their ears pierced on the very same day! They both picked out the same earrings, too.

We also went to Uncle Bill and Aunt Mary Beth's for brunch. Aunt Mary Beth pulled out some dress up clothes for the kids to play with. I walked in to find Jenna and Marissa like this! Doesn't it look like they should be in Evita?!
Cousin Jeannie and Kathy.

We couldn't get enough of baby Haley (Tom's second cousin). Isn't she cute? Even Marissa wanted to hold her.
Aunt Mary Beth made Marissa some very special flip flops made with balloons. They're really cute. We had a nice trip to Cinci and hope to go to back again soon!
