Jacob's "Best Day Ever"!

Jacob was THRILLED to have the opportunity to meet his favorite baseball player...Alfonso Soriano. He woke up early that morning proclaiming that this was going to be his "best day ever"...and it was. Not only did he get to meet Sori, but he also got to watch the game, eat cotton candy...oh, and then he even found a dollar on the ground! It truly was a magical day for him....and a great experience for all who got to participate in his excitement. I'm sure it will become a memory that he will not soon forget. Thank you again, Anne and Bob, for making this his best day ever!



Oh..and Tom was a little excited, too! :)

Jenna's First Day of Preschool

Jenna is starting her second year of preschool and will be in the Turtle Room again. While I think she's excited (on the inside) about continuing her education, she's honestly not sharing much with us about her first week back. For example, when her cute green dress came home soaking wet in a baggy...she responded that "NO" she had, in fact, NOT been participating in playing at the water table. So, you see...our spunky little Jenna still drives her own bus. I'll report back when she feels like sharing.

Jenna and her best bud, Mallory, will enjoy carpooling to preschool together. :)

Jacob's First Day of First Grade

Here are some pictures from Jacob's first day of school. He had a busy, but fun, first week and is looking forward to making lots of new friends this year. He's excited about eating lunch at school (especially since chocolate milk is on the menu). I'm trying hard to ensure that I pack enough food so he doesn't starve!
