Jacob was so happy to get a Santa's hat..it was on his Christmas list. Nicholas enjoys some Christmas candy and Marissa reaches into her stocking to find another goody to open. And meet Isabelle...Jenna's new stuffed dinosaur! Jenna has thoughtfully honored her good friend, Isabelle Biegler, by naming her dino after her....so cute. Hmmm, as I closely inspected Isabelle the Dinosaur I noticed that a needle and thread had been taken to her. I'm thinking that Mrs. Claus must have found her in the Halloween costume clearance section of Target, bought her for dirt cheap, took her home, stuffed her with polyfil, and sewed her up! How fun is that?! (Jenna doesn't even realize that this is the same costume that she wanted me to buy her for Halloween.)

I love this picture of Rissa. She was so excited, I think mostly because everyone around her was so pumped up. Throughout the day she kept telling us that it was Baby Jesus' birthday. :)
Max must have been a good boy this year because he found a rawhide bone in his stocking. He unwrapped it all by himself and ate the entire thing in one sitting.
After enjoying most of the day at home, we headed to my Aunt Jan's house for Christmas dinner. We had a great time with my family and then we decided to hit the road for Michigan! We were going to leave the next day, but anticipating bad weather we left that night and arrived in Michigan at 1am...ready to celebrate Christmas with Tommy's family!
